About me:

I grew up loving science. My father was a science teacher, and it was one of my favorite subjects in school. Today I love helping my kids with their science homework (when they let me!).

I also love scripture. I grew up in a Christian home. In the late 80s I experienced God in an amazing way that changed my life forever. Today I am passionate for Christ.

In the 90s I developed an interest in Creation/Evolution. My love for scripture make Creation the clear answer. My love for science drove me to study Creationism. Unfortunately at the time (pre-“web”) Creation material was scarce, and truthfully less than solid. I began to lose interest and eventually stopped researching. Although I was a bit discouraged at the limited Creation material, there is one thing I’m glad I did NOT do: cave into the compromise of Theistic Evolution as other did, falling into what would later be consider a “hasty marriage”.

After a very long hiatus (over a decade), something caused me to want to research it again. I was curious to see if websites had developed since that time. What I discovered amazed me! I was blown away at what had been discovered during my hiatus, and how much material was available. I began devouring everything Creation Science.

I distinctively recall reaching a point of wondering “Has Creationism really become that solid??!” It gave me caution to think I was only studying one side of this. Before I went any further, I just had to know if it was really that solid. I began researching arguments against creationism. I made my best effort to leave no stone unturned as I read up on all the anti-Creationist arguments I could. It seemed a little intimidating at first, but in the end, it was SO worth it! That process truly strengthened my faith in the Creation Model, and today, I ENJOY reading arguments against Creationism!

Later as I turned my attention to problems with Evolution, I reached that same point of curiosity: “Why do people actually believe this non-sense?” That’s when I started studying arguments FOR evolution. Again, I am SO glad I did, because that was another faith-builder for me. Today I so enjoy reading arguments FOR evolution. They’re actually rather entertaining.

Eventually I reached a point of wanting to share what I’ve learned with others, primarily through teaching. But with that thought came great conviction: “we who teach will be judged more strictly” - James 3:1. With that in mind, I began spending a great deal of time in prayer over Creationism, especially in regard to the age of the earth. I spent months praying heavily and even fasting over it. Without going into detail I can say God answered that prayer in a very clear and specific way. I had my answer: the Creation Model is most certainly true.
