Yeah, about that...

Why this website? Two reasons:

Creation

First, the name: "Better origins" - That was a theme that kept coming up the more I studied biblical creation. And it's the motivation for this website.

I've come to realize we as biblical creationists have a better explanation for the origin of many things: stars, planets, spiral galaxies, bent rock layers, biological life...even (and especially) human uniqueness, particularly things like mind and consciousness. When I examine naturalistic explanations for the origins of these things, I find them wanting, vastly inferior to explanations within the creation model.

After decades of following the evolution/creation debate, I can say I have settled on the better, more intellectually satisfying origins model: biblical creation. And I enjoy sharing what I've learned with others.

Coding

I'm a software developer. Keeping current in this field requires lots of coding, and creating personal projects like this help quite a bit. What better way to keep up with C#, T-SQL, .Net, JavaScript, HTML...

Well...you get the point. This site is completely home-baked, from cracking eggs and adding flour, to mixing in the Bootstrap & jQuery. Unfortunately that means I can't blame anyone else when it breaks...
