Belief in abiogenesis is ridiculous. And this book helps reinforce that.

This was a surprisingly accessible book about a rather technical topic. It's probably at a high school biology reading level. In this book the authors break up this problem into 12 "steps" that must occur to go from simple molecules to a working cell. Even if you don't get the technical details on each step, each could be read in isolation, and in a way that anyone can get a grasp on how incredible this problem is.
