Many people ask this question:
Can a person believe in creationism and be saved?
Oh wait...no one asks that.
Well there is another one many DO ask:
Can a person believe in evolution and be saved?
Interesting question. The answer isn't very interesting (read your bible!) But the fact that this question gets asked often and that previous one never does is rather revealing.
This reveals two things:
- It's pretty well accepted by all that biblical creationism is the most straightforward accepted origins interpretation from the bible.
- The asking of that second question indicates that the asker is really just looking for permission. Permission to compromise on their theology, and still be 'saved'.
